How do I travel so much?

The weekend is finally here and I’m traveling. I’ve had lots of questions about how I’m able to travel frequently and I want to put a stop to chit chat and maybe help some people out at the same time. The weight loss numbers pressure

Every day we’re bombarded with numbers: times, dates, addresses, appointments, etc. But there are other numbers in our lives that consume us too like workout minutes, miles to run, pounds to lose, pounds gained, etc. Sometimes those numbers can put pressure on us. The time I tried the falafel waffle

I tried to falafel waffle from the Cooking Channel commercial. Falafel is usually fried in ball form and oh so delicious. Willie and I love them but they are loaded with fat so I wanted to find a way for us to enjoy these things. I’ve seen the commercial a million times on Cooking Channel but I’ve never had enough time to attempt making it. Sunday, I had the time and this was the result. Where my falafel waffle went wrong? Let’s remember what Memorial Day is really …

Today we are celebrating Memorial Day! I just wanted to drop in to tell everyone to stop and think about what this holiday really means. Yes, most people are off work enjoying time at the beach or lake while eating hamburgers and hot dogs off the grill but there is a reason for Memorial Day. Many brave people gave their lives for ours and the freedoms we take for granted everyday. Fitbit Flex (and Just Dance) has me getting …

I have a love/hate relationship with my Fitbit Flex. After Fitbloggin’ last year, I decided to get a Fitbit to help me monitor my steps and sleep patterns. Little did I know, I was going to go through three Fitbits in less than a year and these things aren’t cheap. In April, my Fitbit Flex died again on the charger and I missed it but I wasn’t going to go through the hassle of getting a replacement. May is National Egg Month and it’s time to celebrate. As you know, I’ve been really jazzed about eggs and how Eggland’s Best Eggs have been transforming my diet. Fundraising for Team Healthy Kids (Action for Healthy …

Supporting Action for Healthy Kids is a priority for me because I spent a majority of my life being overweight from childhood into adulthood. I don’t want that for the future of our country. I always say that small steps lead to big strides and this is just one of those small steps. This is our future. There are many health issues that are associated with childhood obesity but there are ways to stop that. Race Recap: Horse Capital Marathon

Running the Kentucky Ale Horse Capital Marathon was a biggie for me. This is the race that finally got me qualified for the 50 States Marathon Club. I decided at the last minute that it was doable and I asked around to see if anyone would want to go…and bam someone wanted to go. The dream became a reality and we road tripped to Kentucky.
