Celebrate everything

I’ve been working on things around the site. You may have noticed some changes. I’m going for a new look. There have been a couple of bugs but I think things are finally smoothing over. I am excited for a new start on an old thing.

I want to talk about celebration. Everyone should stop right now and just stop to celebrate something about yourself. Big, little, tiny, miniscule…whatever it is, it’s worthy of celebration.

Quotes

I hear so many things in life. “Well I only ran 2 miles.” “I was only able to do the stairmaster for 12 minutes.” “I was only able to do…” I’m here to tell you, all that is worth is celebrating or worthy of some praise. Everything that you do is important on your journey to wherever you’re going. The journey is singular and is your own, so don’t be afraid to celebrate

I’m guilty of this too but it shouldn’t be that way. Why is it so hard for us to celebrate/praise the things we should be proud of? It’s a bad cycle. This is just goes to show we compare ourselves to others which we shouldn’t do. The only person you should compare yourself to is yourself so you can see how far you’ve come.

I always encourage people to be better than they were yesterday in my fitness class so I challenge all you to do that too. That’s really the only measure that you ever need. If I can do one thing just a little better than I did yesterday, then I consider a huge success. When I keep this mindset, I know my small steps will lead to big strides down the road. I hope you can do that too.

What is one thing you have not celebrated lately? What is one thing you’re going to do better today than yesterday?
