Old school blogging: Angela from A to Z

There’s been this whole old school blogging thing floating around the web and I thought it would be a good things on my blog. Blog readers read the blog, but they don’t really know much about me except I lost some weight and workout A LOT. This is a fun way for you to find out just a little bit more about me. Enjoy!

A. Attached or Single?
P5180030
Attached. I’ve been married for 3 and half years. He’s my partner in crime and in weight loss. I could have lost the weight without it, but it would have been much harder and emotional!

B. Best Friend?
UntitledUntitled
I have three of the bestest friends a girl could ask for…and a great husband and momma! I am blessed.

C. Cake or pie?
Unfortunately since losing the weight it’s neither. But did I ever tell you about the time I ate cake from the trash can? I bet I didn’t but I just publicly shamed myself. That was during a really bad and overweight time in my life.

D. Day of choice?
Saturday because it’s froyo day…and date night with the hubs!

E. Essential Item?
There are too many things I could list here: iPhone, running shoes and music. Let’s just stick with the basics.

F. Favorite color?
There are no other colors besides green…and maybe blue.

G. Gummy bears or worms?
“Gummy Bears bouncing here and there and everywhere.”

H. Home town?
An oil town in Texas.

I. Favorite Indulgence?
Froyo! That’s right, I have a froyo problem. I can eat my weight in froyo and then run a half marathon and scream for more. My husband and friends have to stop me from eating the froyo! I’ve replaced my love of the good ole McDonald’s french fry with froyo.  In the end, it’s a healthier choice, right?

J. January or July?
July because it’s my birthday month and there are fireworks! But January too because two significant life events happened in January: getting married and deciding to lose the weight!

K. Kids?
T, C, E and M…but none of them are mine. I get to have fun with them and then give them back! Kids aren’t on my agenda yet…until I have backpacked across Asia, it’s not on my radar! But do dogs count, because I have two and I treat them like my children, except they sleep in cages.

Reunited

L. Life isn’t complete without?
Love and understanding.

M. Marriage date?
A VERY cold day in Texas. How did that happen? It’s never cold here.

N. Number of brothers/sisters?
3 brothers, 1 sister and I love them all dearly.

O. Oranges or Apples?
Must I choose? Well I’ve been pounding apples in 2013 so I’ll take apples.

P. Phobias?
I have a fear of failing and SNAKES!

Q. Quotes?
“You can’t out do me. I’m always pushing to the next level. I am strong. I am determined. I am motivated. I won’t stop!” (For all the days when I’m feeling down or defeated.)

R. Reasons to smile?
runningbridge
Because I can.

S. Season of choice?
Fall because everything turns such a pretty color and it’s the one time of year (for 3 days) I don’t need to turn the air conditioning or heat on. Plus, running becomes new again. I love it!

T. Tag 5 People.
I don’t have many friends out there in the blogosphere. So I guess I would have to tag Jeremy!

U. Unknown fact about me?
I wish I could dance so badly. When I start dancing I look like fish flapping around on dry land. In my head I see great moves happening, but in reality it is horrible! I digress, I’ll never be on dancing with the stars!

V. Vegetable?
Squash. I. can’t. get. enough.

W. Worst habit?
I get mad when I’m not at my best. I push myself to the limits because I want to better. I am always looking forward and not enjoying the moment while I’m in it.

X. Xray or Ultrasound?
Ok? XRay

Y. Your favorite food?
Untitled
I love Middle Eastern/Lebanese/Greek…all on one plate. Please and thank you!

Z. Zodiac sign?
Cancer.

A Cancer is a person born between the 22nd of June and the 23rd of July. The symbol of Cancer is the Crab. The moon is the ruling planet of Cancer and the element is Water. Mondays are said to be lucky days for Cancer. Cancer strengths are adaptability, loyalty, genuine attachment to a family, and empathy. Weaknesses of Cancer include moodiness, sensitivity, and emotional outbursts and indecisiveness.

People assigned the sign of Cancer are genuinely moody and have ever changing emotions. One minute they may be laughing and having a good time and the next minute you may find them mad at the world. No one single emotion or personality can label a Cancer.

Cancer will often masquerade their emotions with humor. Laughing is a common disguise used by Cancer to hide signs of depression. Cancer will set their aspirations high. Constant struggles for success and achievement lay beneath the exterior shell of Cancer.

Yelling or harshly snapping at individuals born under Cancer can cause their hearts to hurt. They will either shed tears openly or just completely shut down when hurt. When a Cancer is hurt you will not be able to break through the exterior shell. Time is the only thing that can heal the heart of a Cancer.
