Hey all!  It’s the last post of 2018.  It’s been a year and I would like do a rundown of 2018.  This post is going to be extremely personal, so if it’s something you would like to skip, I understand.  I’ll just see you in 2019!  If you want to keep reading, that is always welcome. I ended the year with a strong workout.  Let me tell you, I didn’t want to get up to do this workout but it’s important to me to finish out the year strong.  This isn’t the time to slack off.  It’s time to start… View Post

It’s the last day of the year and I feel like I should put the final stamp on the year so I’m not writing about 2014 tomorrow.  I have so many things I want to say but I know it’s stuff that everyone wants to hear/read.  2014 was a great year for me.  I found my voice in 2014 so in 2015 I hope I can gain some comfortability with my voice.  I traveled across the world and across this great country. The year is coming to an end so it’s only fitting that I recap my 2014 running. I’ve been running for my former self all year long. Not because I’m afraid of her, but I’m just showing myself how far I’ve come since that January day. This wasn’t how I thought the year would go.  The big question is: what fueled my racing desire? The answer: my running group!  I told Jeremy I wanted to do RnR Dallas and he said he was doing it so that kind of pushed me to do the race.  That was two weeks after the Gusher and I had never run a race that close together, but I did it.… View Post

This year has been a crazy year for us!  I really don’t know how it happened or why it happened, but I’m VERY glad that it happened.  At the beginning of the year, I sat down with Willie and told him I wanted to blog about our weight loss.  People were asking us questions, mostly the same questions, and I thought a blog would be the place to get the information out there.  I had no idea that someone at CNN would be searching the internet for weight loss stories and stumble across the blog!  The funny thing about the… View Post
