Rock n Roll races on SALE today

ALL Rock n Roll races are on sale right now!  This is the chance to run a race in the destination of choice and there’s a distance for everyone.  I ran my first Rock n Roll race in 2013 and I really liked the vibe.  The races have changed over the years but I’m still running strong at these races.

There are races all over the world.  I’ve never run an international race but I’ve run my fair share of races in the United States.  I love being able to visit different cities.  The best way to see a city is to get out there on foot to get up close and personal.  Rock n Roll races are a little pricey so why not get more bang for your buck and register now for the lowest prices of the year.

I do recommend that if you are going to run more than one race, you should get a tour pass.  That means you can run a remix (two races in one weekend) and another event.  Or you can run three big races in a year. The 3-pack tour pass is on sale today for $199.  That’s three races for the price of 2 half marathons.  There are other tour pass options like 10-pack ($599) and unlimited ($899).

Go register for a race so we can run together.  Next year I’m hoping to head to New Orleans, San Diego, Denver, Las Vegas, and San Antonio.

Here are some of my favorite races that are still around!

Las Vegas is always a party.  Last year was my first year running and I had so much fun, I had to go back this year.  The strip is shut down and it’s free for your running.  It’s really cool to have an experience like that and it’s one of kind. Save all your money, stay on the strip and have a great time!

I’ve only run Rock n Roll Philadelphia once but it holds a place in my heart.  You are running through American history there and it’s a cool experience.  The race was very pretty back in the day.  My first time running was in 2013 and I hope to make it make it back soon.

Rock n Roll New Orleans has the same vibe as Las Vegas.  You get to run through the french quarter and down St. Charles Ave.  There’s beads and booze (not sanctioned by the race) and it’s just a good time.  This is a race to get your party pace on and have a good time.  Book your hotels early and buddy up with your friends because staying in New Orleans isn’t cheap.  You will have a good time running through the Crescent City.

Go register now for some races and get to running.

Race Recap: Rock n Roll Denver Half Marathon

Race Recap: Rock n Roll Denver Half Marathon

I received a Tour Pass to run the Rock n Roll Marathon series races this year.  The races may be free, but my opinions are my own. I hope you didn’t miss my Rock n Roll Denver 5K recap so if you did go back to read. This is the second part of my Rock n Roll Denver recap.  I had a remix weekend which means I ran two races for three medals.  On Saturday I ran the 5K and on Sunday, I ran the half marathon. It was another cold morning in Denver but it was an earlier start…

Race Recap: Rock n Roll Denver 5k

I received a Tour Pass to run the Rock n Roll Marathon series races this year.  The races may be free, but my opinions are my own. I am catching up on my race recaps.  I am starting with Rock n Roll Denver 5K and Half Marathon.  I had such a great time running this race.  I have run this race a few years back but I don’t think I took time to really enjoy the experience.  This time around, I was all about having a good time and just looking around. I did have a remix weekend of running…

Race Recap: Rock n Roll Denver Half Marathon

Race Recap: Rock n Roll Denver Half Marathon

There are a few things you should know before you read this recap. 1. This wasn’t really supposed to be a race for me.  It was supposed to be a training run.  My training plan called for 15 miles so… 2. I got up early and ran two miles before heading to the start line. I’ve never ran 15 miles before, ever. 3. Even though it was just supposed to be a training run, I put my race face on and was ready to roll. 4. I shouldn’t have done that because ALTITUDE is a horrible thing and it will…

Fun in Denver before the race

Fun in Denver before the race

I arrived in Denver late morning on Friday and headed to the hotel. There was a lot of things going on in Denver this past weekend so I was excited to be there. We ate lunch and had the worse service ever and then we headed to the expo! Expos are bad for me because I buy too much stuff, but I need running stuff, right? And it was rumored to be cold and let me tell you it wasn’t a rumor! There was a zombie crawl in downtown Denver and people were going all out for this. I wish…
