It’s time for the marathon training update. The Flying Pig Marathon is two weeks away, so the peak of the training cycle is now complete. For this training cycle, I hired a running coach to help guide me through the marathon training process. Hiring the coach helped me push through some of those tough times and gave me some excellent accountability. Plus, if I had questions, someone could always give me the answers. I’m wicked excited to be here writing about completing my marathon. This was a huge deal for me and something I knew I would put off until the “right” time so I just put one on the schedule. There is never a right time to do anything, and I’ve learned I just need to make some things work.  If I would have waited until the “right” moment,  the moment may not have ever come. My running group is great.  I love being a Strutter as most of you can tell from my race pictures.  These people have come into my life and made it so much sunnier.  My Monday and Wedesdays have been filled with hanging out with these people until recently and maybe it’s time for a little transparency.
