The topic of the week: Inspirations and motivations

Definition of motivation:
the act or an instance of motivating, or providing with a reason to act in a certain way.  Motivations are internal features.

Definition of inspiration:

the process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative. Inspirations are external forces.

Inspirations in our life:

What inspires you to get going?  What kind of things are you looking for inspirations for?

Where do you find your inspirations?  Do you consider yourself an inspiration to others?  

What has been your inspiration lately?

Motivations:

What are your motivations?  How do you stay motivated?  Are motivations just personal things?

Don’t compare.  Just do you!

I’m here to tell you to ignore the comps.  It does no good.  A big part of my motivation throughout the weight loss journey was to begin with the end in mind.  I visualized what I thought I would like in the end and that really kept me going.  Fast forward to now, I don’t look anything like what I thought I would look.  It’s hard as woman to not compare our outward appearance to others.  After all, we are constantly told what we should look like to meet certain standards.  I’m here to tell you, find your own standard…
