New Years 2015

I went to sleep at 9pm.

New Years 2015

This morning we got up early so I could run a marathon.  I know you’re shocked, right?  The race recap will be up tomorrow but I wanted to show you the medal.  It’s the one on left and it weighs 3.1 pounds. It’s kind of heavy.

New Years 2015

After the race, we stopped by Panera Bread to eat.  I got the power chicken hummus bowl.  I wanted a dinner roll but they were out.  I also got a bowl of chicken noodle soup that should have come with bread,  But guess what? Panera Bread was suddenly out of bread.  How wrong is that?  That’s the second time in two weeks I’ve gone to a Panera and they were out of bread.  It was 3:30 pm, the place stays open until 10 pm.

New Years 2015

We drove back home and I stopped by my mom’s house to get some black eyed peas and cabbage.  If you don’t know, eating this on New Year’s day is supposed to bring you peace and prosperity for the year.  I’m hoping this is true for me.

Now, it’s time to go to sleep.  I’m tired.  I will post my goals for 2015 tomorrow.

How did you spend the first day of the year?

Good luck and prosperity

Good luck and prosperity

It was a lazy new year’s day. After hanging out with friends in the morning, came back home to have a lazy New Year’s Day. It included a lot of watching of television. Willie took a nap on the couch and I continued by Big Bang Theory marathon! I’m working my way through the seasons. We both love the show so much, but Willie was tired. I needed him to rest up before we started on dinner. New Year’s Day is a great time for me because I get to eat all the foods I love but Willie hates. Well,…
