It’s that time again for another episode of the podcast. I’m excited to talk about the change in mindset this week. I’m not sure why it makes me so energized, but I feel it’s an essential aspect of self-improvement.

This week’s topic: changing your mind
People always ask me what made that one time different for my weight loss journey. The answer applies to so many things in life. Why did I decide to run all those races? Why did I choose to blog? Why did I choose to send my Tiny Tot to daycare? Why do I want to work out as much as I do? The simple answer is my mindset.
The simple answer behind it all is I decided to change my mind about something and go for it. There are so many things that hold us back in life: time, family, and money, etc. Another thing that cripples most of us is fear of failure and having to start again.
We need to learn to move past all those things that hold us back so that we can take the steps forward to success. It may sound corny, but merely believing that you can do something is the first step in changing your mindset. Putting a positive spin on any situation will help your mind adjust to making something else work.
