Rock n Roll races on SALE today

ALL Rock n Roll races are on sale right now!  This is the chance to run a race in the destination of choice and there’s a distance for everyone.  I ran my first Rock n Roll race in 2013 and I really liked the vibe.  The races have changed over the years but I’m still running strong at these races.

There are races all over the world.  I’ve never run an international race but I’ve run my fair share of races in the United States.  I love being able to visit different cities.  The best way to see a city is to get out there on foot to get up close and personal.  Rock n Roll races are a little pricey so why not get more bang for your buck and register now for the lowest prices of the year.

I do recommend that if you are going to run more than one race, you should get a tour pass.  That means you can run a remix (two races in one weekend) and another event.  Or you can run three big races in a year. The 3-pack tour pass is on sale today for $199.  That’s three races for the price of 2 half marathons.  There are other tour pass options like 10-pack ($599) and unlimited ($899).

Go register for a race so we can run together.  Next year I’m hoping to head to New Orleans, San Diego, Denver, Las Vegas, and San Antonio.

Here are some of my favorite races that are still around!

Las Vegas is always a party.  Last year was my first year running and I had so much fun, I had to go back this year.  The strip is shut down and it’s free for your running.  It’s really cool to have an experience like that and it’s one of kind. Save all your money, stay on the strip and have a great time!

I’ve only run Rock n Roll Philadelphia once but it holds a place in my heart.  You are running through American history there and it’s a cool experience.  The race was very pretty back in the day.  My first time running was in 2013 and I hope to make it make it back soon.

Rock n Roll New Orleans has the same vibe as Las Vegas.  You get to run through the french quarter and down St. Charles Ave.  There’s beads and booze (not sanctioned by the race) and it’s just a good time.  This is a race to get your party pace on and have a good time.  Book your hotels early and buddy up with your friends because staying in New Orleans isn’t cheap.  You will have a good time running through the Crescent City.

Go register now for some races and get to running.

Start of marathon training

Start of marathon training

You may have missed the news, but I’ve decided to start marathon training.  My first marathon post-baby will be Rock n Roll San Antonio. I’ve run this marathon before and it’s not one of the easiest courses, but the time limit, 7 hours, is the thing that is most important to me.  My PR on the marathon is 4:49:34 and I know I won’t be hitting that time this time around.  I wanted to pick a race that had a “generous” time limit. It’s been a week in my house.  I thought I had everything together and was ready to start…

Race Recap: Rock n Roll San Antonio Half Marathon

I just wanted to start the blog off by telling you I am a Rock n Roll and Team Chocolate Milk ambassador.  My race entries were paid for by these groups but the opinions expressed on my blog are completely my own.  Dont’ forget to check out my Rock n Roll San Antonio 5k recap first. I didn’t have a chance to run Rock n Roll San Antonio last year because I was very pregnant so running this year wasn’t up for discussion.  It’s something I had to do.  There have been a lot of changes to the race since…

Race recap: Rock n Roll San Antonio 5k

It’s so sad the weekend has come and gone because the last Rock n Roll Marathon series race is over.  It’s kind of hard for me to handle right now.  I’ve had a wonderful year representing Rock n Roll and Team Chocolate Milk.  I had a slow start to the year, but I’m glad about the way it finished. This weekend I traveled to San Antonio to run the last race of the series.  I had high hopes of being able to run the marathon in this race, but things didn’t work out the way I planned.  I don’t plan…

Race Recap: Rock n Roll Las Vegas Half Marathon

Did you catch my Rock n Roll Las Vegas 5k recap? The Rock n Roll Las Vegas half marathon is one of the best races I’ve ever run. I don’t want to bury the lead. It may not have been my fastest race but I had the best time running down the Las Vegas strip. Remembering the lives that were lost in the tragic events in Las Vegas was the theme of the weekend. This was really a moving experience for me. I was hesitant about coming to the race but ultimately decided I should run. Half marathon day started…

Race Recap: Rock n Roll Las Vegas 5k

I received a Tour Pass to run the Rock n Roll Marathon series races this year. The races may be free, but my opinions are my own. This was my first time visiting Las Vegas and, f course it was to run. I went to Vegas to do the remix challenge, the 5K and the half marathon. Both races were at night which was a challenge for me because I go to sleep way early. We had an early travel day on Saturday and changed time zones so the goal for Saturday night was to just gave a good time. #StripAtNight Race Recap: Rock…

Race Recap: Rock n Roll Denver Half Marathon

I received a Tour Pass to run the Rock n Roll Marathon series races this year.  The races may be free, but my opinions are my own. I hope you didn’t miss my Rock n Roll Denver 5K recap so if you did go back to read. This is the second part of my Rock n Roll Denver recap.  I had a remix weekend which means I ran two races for three medals.  On Saturday I ran the 5K and on Sunday, I ran the half marathon. It was another cold morning in Denver but it was an earlier start…

Race Recap: Rock n Roll Denver 5k

I received a Tour Pass to run the Rock n Roll Marathon series races this year.  The races may be free, but my opinions are my own. I am catching up on my race recaps.  I am starting with Rock n Roll Denver 5K and Half Marathon.  I had such a great time running this race.  I have run this race a few years back but I don’t think I took time to really enjoy the experience.  This time around, I was all about having a good time and just looking around. I did have a remix weekend of running…

Rock n Roll Dallas Weekend Recap

Rock n Roll Dallas Weekend Recap

This past weekend I ran some races, faced some fears and regained a few parts of myself in the process. This weekend was my first big challenge since having Baby G three months ago. It was a good weekend for me and I’m nothing but positive with moving forward. A few weeks back, I found out I was accepted as a Rock n Roll race series ambassador through the Rock n Blog program.  This is something I have been chasing for awhile (3 years) and it finally arrived on my doorstep when I had really given up hope.  I just…
